Tanya Elizondo-Lyndaker, RIC

Tanya Elizondo-Lyndaker is a Resident in Counseling with more than 10 years of experience in the Mental Health Field. She has experience assisting those with developmental disabilities, those who have committed sexual offenses, and adults with substance use disorders. She has experience assisting adolescents and young adults with mental health concerns in both outpatient and inpatient settings as well as adults experiencing various mental health concerns. She has assisted clients with navigating through anxiety and depression, building self-esteem, substance use, grief and loss, trauma, exploring family dynamics, and working towards building healthy relationships. Tanya believes in helping clients enhance the tools in the toolbelt they already possess to reach their individual treatment goals.

Specialties

Tanya's specialties include anxiety, depression, stress management, building coping skills to reduce symptoms, processing grief and loss, and developing healthy boundaries and relationships. Tanya has also assisted clients with symptoms related to diagnoses of various mood disorders and those experiencing substance use concerns.

Treatment Modalities

Tanya uses a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She will adjust treatment modalities based on the individual needs of each client.
